On Tuesday, January 19, Host Lisa Laco at discussed the Rising Tide Study: The Impact of Dementia on Canadian Society and living with Alzheimer's disease with Mr. Bill Heibein and Alison Denton, Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society.

Restaurant Raffle Prize Winners Announced!
 
The 1st prize winner was Christine Owens, one of the Society’s regular volunteers providing administrative support at the Alzheimer Society office. Christine received almost $1,000 worth of dinner for two gift certificates to 20 restaurants located throughout the city of Thunder Bay.

The 2nd and 3rd prize winners are Judith Price and Natalie O’ Doherty who will each receive gift certificate packages of $125 and $85 respectively.

All proceeds raised stay local to support the Alzheimer Society programs and services for individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia and their families.  (Photo: Christine Owens (Left) receives the grand prize from Alison Denton, Executive Director.)
